What A Plant Knows. Daniel Chamovitz. Scribe. Melbourne.
A really good slim paperback volume full of totally interesting facts about how plants function.
It is anthropomorphised to hell and back of course and this fact is satisfactorily dealt with in the final chapter, the 'Epilogue' which makes it all alright.
Don't know if it was the authors choice to present it in that way or the publisher's.
As it turns out there's so much fascinating stuff about plants in it that it doesn't matter that it is anthropomorphised, it just doesn't matter.
A great little book. A keeper.
