I'll post some random selections from the WEMS whenever I happen to run across one that prompts me to want to do that.
Here's one tonight:
Magen David. The Star of David. The famous Hexagram of the Jews. Almost definitive of the Jews, isn't it?
What do I learn tonight? It was actually not associated with Judaism until the late Middle Ages and was not accepted as a Jewish symbol until the 17 century.
The original source of it was the Tantric 'Great Yantra' which stood for the union of the sexes.
