Just one litle thing might be helpful: moving around via the top menu bar.
Up the top of the screen there is the 'banner' :phpBB etc and beneath that the 'quick links' icon and words and beneath that a bar beginning with a little home icon.
Clicking on that bar is the way to get to those places. How you quickly move around.
So right now I see
Board index < Welcome to MBLForum < Introduction & How To Join
and I am 'in' 'introduction & how to join'.
To go 'back' to the 'welcome' page simply click on those words there.
To go back to the board index, the first page, the 'landing page' simply click on those words: 'Board Index'.
