Andrew Robinson. Palazzo 2010. ISBN 978-0-9553046-9-9
Good book.
Large format soft back. (200m x 260mm x 20mm) 250 pages. This is kind of a quality coffee table tome without the 100% vapidity that is usual with them.
Quite the contrary. From the first page it is easy to read, good to read, interesting and informative. Surprising considering it is written by so many different people. It is a compilation of essays with contributions by such as Steven Weinberg, Arthur Clarke, Stephen Hawking, Joao Magueijo (I've never heard of him before).
They're all good.
And they cover many different aspects, they don't just dribble on about reminiscences of old times, nothing like it.
It is not mathematical at all, not a text book at all, yet it is edifying.
Good stuff.
Many black and white photos.
